I went to a place
A place I call home
Reunited with a family of weavers great dreamers and lost souls

We carry a nation
As we beat in the soil
While they plunder and poison
We witness their foil

Witches and fairies
Faggots and femmes
All come together united within

We found freedom in the ground
We rave glory through the night
Nude basking in the sun
Mermaids whispered their long songs

The tellings of the teachings
The tender in healing
A chaotic equilibrium
Balanced upon the right to tell our own stories

To human our minds
Free from our personal prisons
Intentional aware
Dancing in the dirt and sand
Dancing across the earth we ran
Screaming I believe again

Breathing the heat I glanced
Back at myself a friend
Familiar but new
A different point of view
Whole
